FPTV News

FPTV’s Newscast is a weekly show that keeps Franklin Pierce University updated on campus news, current events, national news, weather, sports, health along with an arts and entertainment report. This show is produced every Tuesday evening at 6:30p.m. in the Paterson Television Studio, in the Fitzwater Center for Communications. There are many different opportunities with helping out on the newscast and no one is turned away. No experience is necessary and any major is welcome! The newscast is produced by Samantha Deabay, and is run by Franklin Pierce University students. The students generate their own scripts, operate cameras and even run teleprompter. This is a great opportunity to get involved in TV and news all at the same time. If you are interested in viewing our weekly newscast, turn on FPTV-25 everyday during our three viewing times, 11:30a.m., 3:30p.m., and 11:30p.m.

If you are interested in helping out it is not too late! Please contact Samantha Deabay at deabays@live.franklinpierce.edu with any questions or comments you have regarding FPTV News.
