In a shocking turn of events, a water line on campus has broken. Because the burst happened to a main line, there is no water currently on the campus of Franklin Pierce University. The cause of the water burst is unknown at the time. Originally, reports said the water would be ready “by dinner time”; however, it has been confirmed that the water main will not be ready until at least tomorrow.

Outside of Northwoods F tower

In the meantime, the university has called a local porta pottie business to deliver some portable bathrooms for students staying at Northwoods during the summer.

Earlier, faculty and staff were told they can go home for the rest of the day. There are students on campus who are here all summer for working, but an email to those students went out saying the water will be back on by dinner time, which was a lie.

Although the temperatures outside are not as hot as they were last week, expecting students to go to the bathroom in porta potties outside during the night is enraging students.

Expect the university to make a statement about the water damage tomorrow.
