Camera one fixed
The repair took just under 30 minutes, which involved disassembling the tube covering the cables and taping cables together to avoid separation. The cameras are back in their original places and have been tested.
The addition of camera one will bring back variety to all in-studio shows. The camera originally went down days after the spring 2011 semester began. In-studio shows were forced to film with only two cameras, creating extra work for the cameramen. Shows, including FPTV News, Ground Pound, and Roommatez had to reorganize rundowns in order to accommodate for the broken camera.
The studio is almost 100% fixed, with the camera one teleprompter still no repaired yet. All equipment will be working by the time the first show is filmed in the studio this semester, Monday September 5th.
