Host of Roommatez and FPTV Beta Trade Places
In the blockbuster trade of the year, James Connelly and Nick Caramico have switched host positions for Roommatez and FPTV Beta. The switch came days after the airing of the April Fools’ Week on FPTV.
During this week, Joe Landini hosted Roommatez, Caramico hosted The Joe Show, and Connelly hosted FPTV Beta. After every show filmed, Connelly knew he wanted to make the switch over to FPTV Beta.
“I think as a television personality, I felt it was time to try something new. I knew it would be a great learning experience for me to attempt a show that requires more work and effort,” said Connelly.
Caramico, the former host who created the show last semester, also accepted the change. With graduation less than two months away, Caramico accepted Connelly’s request.
“I enjoyed hosting a different show than I have in the past. Switching shows will be easier for me,” said Caramico.
With Roommatez in its fourth season, Caramico knows the format and said he will have no problems with the switch. The only difficult part Caramico saw was creating different questions every week. At this time, the show will make no other changes.
On the other hand, Connelly has big changes in mind for FPTV Beta.
“I want to bring to people a humorous 30 minutes of television that viewers will want to watch over and over again,” said Connelly.
Viewers will have the chance to see these new hosts in action next Monday, April 4th at their regularly scheduled time. Connelly will continue hosting FPTV Beta into next year; however, Roommatez will begin to search for a new host for next semester.
