Applications for the 2011-2012 FPTV Executive Board are now available outside of the FPTV office and Grad Assistants office doors.  Both offices are located on the 3rd floor of the Fitzwater Center.  There will be 6 positions open for next year including:

 

*Executive of Programming (In charge of making schedule and putting shows on the air)

*Executive of Commercials (In charge of making 15 second, 30 second, or 60 second commercials for FPTV shows)

*Executive of Sports (Responsible for every sports shows for FPTV)

*Executive of Entertainment (Responsible for every entertainment shows for FPTV)

*Executive of News (Responsible for Producing FPTV’s newscast)

*Technical Operations Director (In charge of troubleshooting and fixing equipment)

 

ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE DUE ON MARCH 30TH (next Wednesday).  There will be a brown folder for applicants to submit their cover letter, resume, and application on the FPTV office door.  This is a great opportunity for students to improve their resume and learn how a television station runs.  Any one is allowed to submit an application!

Once submitted, I will contact your email for a date to have an interview with the current FPTV Executive Board.  The interview will be on Wednesday, Marth 30th at noon.  This is an equal opportunity for anyone interested!

As next year’s station manger, I am here for any advice and questions!  I am looking forward to next year and this is the first step in many to make FPTV the best station it can possibly be.
