Roots of Creation playing free show at FPU
by Nick Caramico
For the first time in over 4 years, the self described “Reggae/Rock Dubtronica Hybrid” band, Roots of Creation, will be playing a free show for the Franklin Pierce Community. On Friday November 19th, the band will be performing in Pierce Hall at 7:00 pm.
Roots of Creation consists of three Franklin Pierce alumni: Singer/Guitarist Brett Wilson, Tal Pearson on Keyboards, and drummer Mike Chadinha. The band is currently touring with bassist Brandon Downs and guitarist Jay McGuinness.
The band has toured the country, opening for such bands as Lupe Fiasco and The Wailers. Since graduating from FP, the band has put out four albums, most recently “ROC Live Vol.2″. The album captures the band in their element, a live setting. Performances from the album include the best of their live recordings from 2009 and 2010, including songs like their hit single “Policy” and covers of Talking Heads and Tom Petty classics.
“We started out playing parties in the trailers,” said singer Wilson. The band will transform Pierce Hall with their full stage and unique musical approach. For more information, and how to download their music, visit the bands website here. Don’t forget to see the band play live in Pierce Hall this Friday at 7 pm.

Hardly ever do I encounter a weblog that’s both educated and entertaining, and let me let you know, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is excellent; the difficulty is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I’m very joyful that I stumbled throughout this in my quest for info regarding this.

You lost me, friend. I mean, I suppose I get what youre stating. I realize what you are saying, but you just appear to have forgotten about that you will find some other people in the world who view this issue for what it really is and might not agree with you. You may well be turning away alot of men and women who might have been fans of your web log.

Many thanks for your time and effort to have put these things together on this website. Janet and I very much treasured your knowledge through the articles with certain things. I am aware that you have quite a few demands on your own program therefore the fact that you actually took equally as much time just like you did to help people like us by way of this article is also highly prized.
