Women’s Studies Raise Homeless Awareness
Franklin Pierce Professor Andrea Bergstrom organized a Homeless Awareness Sleepout on the softball field of the University’s Rindge Campus Tuesday Night. Over 20 students and faculty participated in the demonstration from 6:00 pm Tuesday night until 6:00 am Wednesday morning. Students from the Women in Leadership program brought out their sleeping bags and snacks for the experience. Bergstrom had her classes fill out Budget Worksheets to show how difficult it is for a single woman to live on her own. “Most of the people who are homeless in rural areas are women and children,” said Bergstrom.
Nick Caramico was able to speak to Professor Bergstrom about the sleepout.

It can be rare to get a specialist in whom you may have some trust. In the world today, nobody truly cares about showing others the answer in this subject matter. How fortunate I am to have definitely found a real wonderful site as this. It truly is people like you that make a true difference in this world through the strategies they discuss.

Have you ever considered about including just a little bit a lot more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is critical and all. Nonetheless believe of in the event you added some fantastic visuals or video clips to give your posts far more, “popâ€! Your content is excellent but with images and videos, this internet site could undeniably be one of the quite best in its niche. Amazing blog!
