As of this writing, we have yet to find an explanation of this, but according to bloody-disgusting.com, a flash drive was mailed to them containing a brief video in the style of the film Paranormal Activity. This video is allegedly a viral video made to promote the upcoming sequel and has many clues hidden within, from the strange file name to the timecode at the bottom. In the middle of the video, visible for only a single frame, is a demon or ghost that causes a woman to drop the camera. The rest of the footage shows a baby walking in a living room.

The strangest thing about this whole thing is that Bloody Disgusting is reporting that the flash drive was left at the door in an envelope with no postage and a return address reading “40 University Drive, Rindge NH, 03461″, which is obviously the address of the Rindge campus of Franklin Pierce University. Strange, huh? We will update this post if more information becomes available.

UPDATE: We have now learned there are at least 7 videos that have been distributed to various websites including Entertainment Weekly. All these videos feature the same baby in different locations. What is most strange about all of this, none of the envelopes containing the flash drives had postage, meaning none were mailed. All however, had Franklin Pierce University’s address listed as the return address. Why would something that was never mailed include a return address. This shows that the address was clearly included on purpose.

UPDATE: According to a source of ours, someone claiming to be from Paramount Pictures repeatedly called campus safety a few days ago wanting to talk to campus media about the situation.

In the meantime, check out the clip below. Warning: it is creepy.

There are now 8 videos known. They can be found here.
